Autumn Concert With Nancy Denton & Students

This is my second year taking voice lessons from Nancy Denton in Wolfville and this will be her last year/term teaching. I am happy she decided to teach this final year but sad that I will be loosing such a talented teacher. Each year she holds a concert at her church with her students performing. Last year was my first year at one of her concerts. I sang Beautiful Dreamer and boy, was I nervous. I stayed ahead of the accompaniment the whole piece but thankfully it sounded good anyway. This year I plan to loosen up and have some fun.

These are the songs Nancy plans for me to sing. Some are with others and some are solo. The theme for this years' concert is songs from the 30's & 40's with such artists are Hoagie Carmichael, Kurt Weill, Duke Ellington, Edith Piaf, Gerome Kern, Cole Porter..................and more.
